Table Design
I have to design a small database for a school library. It needs to store books, students, and borrowing records. I understand how to make tables, but I am not sure where the IDs and relationships should go. I searched for Database assignment help while trying to understand database design better. Should each table have only one main ID? How do you decide when two tables should be connected? I am worried about making a design that causes repeated data later. Could someone explain a simple way to plan the tables before writing SQL?

This table design immediately took me back to my undergrad days, staring at a blank spreadsheet, feeling completely lost. As a PhD student now, I appreciate the clarity here. I actually work part-time at The Online Class Help, and seeing resources like this makes me wish I’d had better organizational tools back then. My own academic struggles taught me that sometimes we just need a clear map. It’s why I love connecting students with practical study aids, not just theories. Shoutout to all the online class helpers out there making learning accessible it’s a game-changer for overwhelmed students.
